Private lessons are built around your goals. Not a fixed curriculum.
Whether you want to learn a handful of songs, finally understand music theory, or improve your technique, we'll focus on the things that are actually useful to you.
I start with a general game plan based on where you want to go. From there, we can adjust as your interests and playing develop.
At the end of each lesson, you'll record a quick video recap of what we covered and what to work on during the week.
If you're a visual learner, I can also provide tabs, chord charts, sheet music, or other handouts to keep things clear between lessons.
Raised in St. Louis, Trevor’s early years were spent drawing, skateboarding, and playing guitar. Inspired by his parents’ CD collection and the soundtracks from his favorite movies, he developed a curiosity for all styles of music, which eventually grew into a lifelong passion.
Trevor went on to graduate from Webster University with a degree in Guitar Performance, lived in Vienna, and pursued studies in composition, arranging and scoring in Austin, Texas.
Over the past decade, Trevor has performed with bands spanning rock, pop, country, jazz, and R&B, as well as with orchestral and theater productions. He also composes original music for games, podcasts, and digital media. His work has been trusted by clients including Major League Soccer, Brooks Running, Ferrari, AAA, Tiffany & Co., Visit Austin, and Texas Research.
When he's not making music, you can find Trevor hiking, building furniture, or deep into another creative project.
